Please arrive on time for your Class/Course as the first 10 minutes are allotted to relaxation to help you in the process of ‘letting go’ of the stresses of the day, enabling you to focus on yourself & your practice. Please also allow time for the entirety of the class as the last 10 – 15minutes are the most important, this is the time when your mind, body & spirit assimilate the affects of the practice Yoga classes are 1 – 2 ˝ hours duration in order to give the best quality teaching, to allow an even pace, time for individual attention and a good relaxation Avoid heavy meals less than 2-3 hours before class, a light snack is ok Please wear comfortable clothing that will allow for stretching but not too baggy as I will need to be able to observe your posture while you work Yoga is always practised in bare feet for stability in the standing postures You will need to bring a Yoga mat. There are a few spare mats for new students to borrow and some Lightweight Mats for sale. All other equipment ‘props’ such as belts & blocks will be provided though you are welcome to bring your own Please turn off your Mobile Phone during class Most of all it is important that you enjoy your practice. We are all co-creators of our experience and you will be encouraged to contribute to the safe, non- competitive atmosphere by working patiently, compassionately with present moment awareness. |
