Beginners Foundations

 

If you think that you are too old, too stiff or too unfit to start yoga,
this course is for you.

The courses will progress week–by-week starting with standing, seated forward bends, prone back strengtheners and gentle twisting postures to help develop core strength, stability, good postural alignment and a suppleness that reduces physical and mental tension.

The course is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from stress and related illnesses and will include an:

  • Introduction to Deep Breathing,

  • Relaxation & Meditation techniques

This course is perfect for absolute beginners.

Yoga is a gift to all regardless of age, physical condition or state of mind. It will over time reduce the inner and outer signs and symptoms of aging. I believe that while Yoga makes our bodies stronger and more flexible, its greatest gift lies in its’ ability to help us create optimal health.

Practising in a safe, relaxed and non-competitive environment you will gain more energy, confidence and an increased sense of well-being.
