A Day of Yoga with Dawn Smith

At Selsdon Park Hotel, Addington Road, Sanderstead, South Croydon, Surrey

Venue & Travel information

The Day is suitable for all levels. Beginners will be encouraged to focus on alignment in the postures and modifications will be given so that you may experience the postures in comfort and according to your ability. Those with more experience will practice developing proficiency in the postures with optional variations.

Yoga not only stretches the physical body it enhances the functioning of all the body systems. So we will practice Pranayama which is the art of consciously directing the breath, which carries our Chi or Prana - the unseen but vital energy that flows through us creating health and vitality. The exercises relax the mind, strengthen the immune system and reduce anxiety, insomnia, stress and related illness and will lead one quite naturally to a state of relaxation the prefect prelude to Meditation.
